Day 1 – arrive Entebbe,uganda

Upon arrival in Entebbe, you are met by our GoExplore representative and transferred to your tranquil hotel fronting Africa’s largest lake. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 2 – bwindi impenetrable national park| into the mist

Fly to the Kisoro airstrip and transfer to your permanent tented campsite in the mist-swathed
mountains of the park, enjoying some time at leisure.

Overnight at Mahogany Springs.

Day 3 – bwindi impenetrable national park| encounter of a lifetime

Today, trek through the park’s dense vegetation, travelling up and down its steep slopes in
search of the resident mountain gorillas. Your guides use their experience, knowledge of the
gorillas’ habits and information from the previous day to locate them. Once the gorillas are
spotted, observe their subtle social interactions, remarkable behaviors closely resembling our

Enjoy a scenic flight from the Kihihi airstrip back to Entebbe, where a reserved dayroom awaits
for you. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure.

  • Gorilla permits per person as specified in the itinerary. 
    • Gorilla tracking is subject to availability of permits, which are limited to 8 per gorilla group per day.
    • Any Gorilla permit required need to be paid for upfront when booking. As soon as funds clear in our account, we will go ahead and purchase.  
    • Gorilla permits cannot be held with the Uganda Wildlife Authority in advance of payment and Rwanda Development Board – they are only secured once physically paid for.
    • Gorilla permits are always 100% non-transferable and non-refundable.
    •There is a minimum age limit for gorilla tracking which is strictly 15 years


  • International flights and applicable airport departure taxes 
  • All passport and visa fees (Visa: US$ 50 per person for entry into Uganda – easily obtainable at the Airport) 
  • Meals not specified (including lunch and other meal stops between properties on overland sectors)
  • Drinks where not stipulated in itinerary

  • Laundry in Entebbe/Kampala
  • Gratuities for guide/driver/hotel staff
